Legal Division, renders the Legal Services in 4 Sections

Litigation Section

This Section of the Firm deals in the Constitutional and general litigation and represent the clients before all the Courts, Tribunals and Forums including,

  • Supreme Court, High Courts, Lower Courts and Special Courts (like the Consumer, Anti-Corruption & National Accountability¬† Courts etc) and other designated Courts.
  • Tribunals and Forums, like National Industrial Relations Commission, Medical Tribunal, National Electric Power Regulatory Authority Tribunal, Services & Labour Appellate Tribunals, Taxation Authorities, Labour Court, Ombudsman, Securities Exchange Commission of Pakistan etc.

Advisories Section

This Section provides the opinions, advisories and consultancies in general and intricate matters.

Our these services in particulary are in commercial, trade, civil, human resources, labor and service matters. Besides, we render the advisory services on the matters related to local governments and elections.

This Section also deals in drafting & vetting of agreements, general contracts & partnership deeds, commercial contracts, EPC contracts, procurement agreements including the tenders, bids & contracts etc. To add, this segment includes the drafting of laws, rules, regulations and policies.

Corporate Section

This is a dynamic section of the Firm. It renders multiple services which encompas a vast area of our operations. The corporate & commercial services include,

  • Typical corporate matters – for instances, Due Diligence, Share Certification, Mergers, De-mergers, Acquisitions, Registrations, Compliances,
  • The matters related to the Privatization & Competition laws;
  • The financial, banking, investment issues; and
  • The procurement, shipment, trade & commercial

Regulatory Section

This is a very prominent and major Section of the Legal Division which serves for and against various regulators including National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), and the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The list of such regulators further include the Securities & Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), Competition of Pakistan (CCP), and the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

In case of need, this Section works with the Consultancy Division.
